Above, Down Inside Out… Our bodies heal from the inside out, they also become sick from the inside out. Our nervous systems control every aspect of our bodies, they are the wiring that connects us to our Intranet. Our brain, which I believe we still no very little about how it works, controls all the things that happen in ourselves, from cell division to picking our nose. Every cell, tissue and organ in our body is connected to the brain, which monitors and regulates its function. Now we are not wireless beings, the brain uses nerves to send and receive messages, these nerves are encased in our spine for much of their journey, our spine is for protection. Chiropractors are the only doctors which deal with making sure that your spine and the nerves that exit it are healthy and working properly. Chiropractors don’t treat conditions from the outside in, thats medicines, shots, surgery, etc… Chiropractors work to improve the function within our bodies so that we can heal from the inside out.

I hope that wasn’t too confusing, simply put, our bodies KNOW how to heal us, sometimes the messages being sent or received are distorted due to nerve irritation from the spinal area. Chiropractors remove that irritation with adjustments and the nervous system takes care of the rest…

They say you’ll be on a dozen different medications for the rest of your life. But what does the doctor looking back at you in the mirror say?

The doctor in the mirror says you have an innate wisdom inside, capable of RE-CREATING a healthier version you. A ‘you’ without allergies, asthma, sleep apnea, depression, chronic fatigue, GERD or fibromyalgia. That doctor is just waiting for you to remove the roadblock.

Health is your birthright. Health is your natural state. Health is what you experience when you have a clear nerve system. Don’t be imprisoned by the whitecoat’s diagnosis, it’s merely a temporary state. Find a Chiropractor who works with the doctor inside you and you’ll leave sickness and dis-ease behind in the dust. You eat right, exercise five days a week and try to get enough sleep – you’ve got the ‘pedal to the metal’ when it comes to staying fit, but something’s holding you back. Maybe it’s time to pay more attention to your Nerve System.

Although you’ve got one foot on the gas, Subluxations can put the brakes on your progress. Subluxations are troublesome misalignments in your spine that irritate your Nerve System and rob you of potential health energy. The effect is like trying to drive with your brakes on. You’ve got your fitness throttle wide open, but you’re going nowhere fast.

If you want to stop spinning your wheels when it comes to your health, prioritize your spinal care. When it comes to unleashing more health horse power, nothing releases the brake like Chiropractic can. Repost Weekly Sticky via Dr. Pfeiffer and West St. Pauls Unlimited Chiropractic Club.

You’re a few weeks into your Chiropractic care and you’re starting to feel better. You want to get back to your routine as soon as possible. There’s a ton to do around the house, you’ve got a family to take care of and you can’t wait to get back to the gym. You have an urgency to start ‘living’ again. Problem is… the paint’s not quite dry yet.

It’s not uncommon to feel ‘done’ after a few adjustments. When the innate recuperative abilities of your body kick in, you might look and feel remarkably new – like a fresh coat of paint. But like a fresh coat of paint, looks can be deceiving. What seems completely dry (healed) on the surface may still have a few tacky areas underneath. If you jump the gun and try to re-hang the fixtures, you might ruin the finish and need to start all over again.

Complete and thorough healing requires time. Even though you may feel like your old self after a few Chiropractic sessions, it’s no green light to go back to your old activities. The stabilizing phase of care (where you feel so good you wonder why you’re still coming in) is where all the ‘paint curing’ happens. Give your body the time it needs to completely dry and you’ll be happier with the end results. Repost Weekly Sticky via Dr. Pfeiffer and Unlimited Chiropractic Club of West St. Paul.

BJ Palmer (the developer of Chiropractic) believed that with time and clarity in the nerve system, the body could heal itself in just about any situation.

A sick cell is replaced by a healthy one – healthy cells become healthy tissues – healthy tissues become healthy organs – healthy organs make a healthy human being. The conversion from sickness to wellness is an innate process that can only be performed by the doctor within you, via a well toned nerve system.

Healing is therefore a process of RE-creating yourself, one cell at a time, over a period of time. The power that made your body is more than capable of converting you from sickness to wellness. All it needs is a clear pathway and enough sand in the hour glass to accomplish it. Repost Weekly Sticky via West St. Pauls Unlimited Chiropractic Club and Dr. Pfeiffer.

Does your health shine brighter… are your relationships with friends and family more in focus… is your job performance sharper and crisper?

You ‘see’ everything through your nerve system – how you feel, how you interact with the people around you, how you perform at home or at work. When your nerves are stressed, the line between barely existing and fully living is blurred. However, the more clear your nerve system, the better your ability to interact physically, mentally and spiritually with the world around you; and ultimately the better your quality of Life.

When a Chiropractor adjusts the stress from your nerve system, it’s like cleaning the dirt, streaks and smudges from the lens through which you interpret your world – and with a clear lens you can see all your potential. Life is vibrant when you’re viewing it through Chiropractic glasses. Repost Weekly Sticky via Dr. Pfeiffer and West St. Pauls Unlimited Chiro Club.

You hit ‘Control+Alt+Delete’ to reboot the operating system and get everything running smoothly again. Your human computer (Nerve System) needs a periodic rebooting too.

Your Nerve System gets overwhelmed from daily stress. An urgent work deadline, unexpected family crisis or any inconvenient change in your routine are unsolicited stresses (spyware or a virus) that bog down your nerves. The result – your body slows down, runs sluggish and eventually “freezes up” with an illness. Getting a Chiropractic adjustment is like hitting the Control+Alt+Delete buttons. It clears your Nerve System of unwanted stress and gets you running fast again.

The stress our grandparents experienced in a week, today we get in just 24 hours! If you’re not purging the tension from your Nerve System on a regular basis, your hard drive could crash. Get ‘rebooted’ routinely with Chiropractic care and stay ahead of the failure.

Chiropractic has never been about the “cracking”. At West St. Paul’s Unlimited Chiropractic Club when we talk about what chiropractic is, cracking, popping or snapping are never used to describe treatment. The adjustment is what chiropractors do to restore motion to a joint. Sometimes there is an audible pop that accompanies the adjustment, but that is not the goal of the treatment.

Chiropractic is unique in that we are the only profession to deal specifically with the integrity of the nervous system. The intent of the chiropractic adjustment is to restore the normal motion to spinal units and remove any nerve interference that they cause to the nervous system. Thats it… Period…

Chiropractic works 100% of the time for what it is intended for. So what about treating my pain? Headache? etc.? Chiropractic in its true form doesn’t treat anything but the vertebral subluxation (bone not moving correctly and interfering with nervous system). Now, if your nervous system works well, it will heal your body and your pain. Hence the results people see in chiropractic offices all over the world. Somewhere along the line, pain symptoms like back pain, headaches, hip pain and neck pain were associated with chiropractic because people’s symptoms got better. Insurance companies require some sort of pain or problem (acute neuromusculo disorder), in order to pay for care, so over the years chiropractic has become known for treating these conditions. But in truth, chiropractors don’t actually treat this conditions, we remove the interference to the nervous system and the body then heals itself.

I have patients who want to be cracked, popped, or twisted in my office, that audible noise may have some sort of placebo effect, but at West St. Paul’s Unlimited Chiropractic Club, we focus on removing the interference not on putting on a show. Remember, first visit, including treatment is always only $10. And unlimited care is under $50 a month.

I do have an inspirational blog, check it out sometime, its called Thank God Its Monday.

So, today is the monday after Easter, if you are a person of faith, you have had a great weekend celebrating Jesus, probably a brunch or two too. Faith is a great thing, we can’t really survive without it. And not just faith in god, but faith in our bodies, friends, family, etc..

Faith by definition is “Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.”

Complete trust or confidence in someone or something… Wow!! But think about it, you do have faith in your bodies ability to keep you alive, otherwise you wouldn’t venture out at all. Your body is an amazing creation, here are some facts you may not have know about your amazing you…

There are millions of nerve cells in the human body. This number even exceeds the number of stars in the Milky Way.

In one square inch of skin there are four yards of nerve fibers, 1300 nerve cells, 100 sweat glands, 3 million cells, and 3 yards of blood vessels.

Except for your brain cells, 50,000,000 of the cells in your body will have died and been replaced with others, all while you have been reading this sentence.

It is normal to lose 100 hairs per day from the scalp.

In a child developing inside the womb, neurons grow at the rate of 250,000 neurons per minute.

At a given point of time, only four percent of the cells in the brain are active, the rest are kept in reserve.

The nervous system is very quick, it can transmit impulses at a tremendous speed of 100 meters per second. The speed of message transmission to the brain can be as high as 180 miles per hour.

There are 43 different pairs nerves which connect the central nervous system to every part of our body. Twelve of these nerve pairs are connected to the brain, while the remaining 31 are connected to the spinal cord.

West St. Paul Unlimited Chiro Club helps your body.

We help your body by making sure your nervous system is working at its best, but removing interference caused by joint dysfunction in your spine. Without your nervous system, your body has no ability at all. Your brain and nervous system control every function your body has. So for you to have faith in your body is great, it is an amazing creation. But you do have a spine, which is a part of your body just as your teeth are. You do take care of your teeth right? brushing, flossing, regular dental cleanings, etc? Your spine decays too, just like your teeth, chiropractor’s are the only licensed doctors who deal with the care and maintanence of your spine. Regular chiropractic check-ups are needed to keep your spine in align and help slow or prevent the decay that occurs. We created the West St.Paul Unlimited Chiro club for that exclusive purpose, to allow people regular access to chiropractic for under $50 a month. Once your spine is properly aligned, regular check-ups (one to 4 times a month) keep your body functioning at an optimal level. So, faith is great, but if your nervous system is compromised, your body has less of a chance of healing, fixing, or even recognizing you have a problem.

Visit West St. Paul’s Unlimited Chiro Club and see for yourself how great your body can be.
